A Brand New State is my debut record! This recording was made at Sunset Sound in Hollywood and was produced by Ulysses Owens Jr. A Brand New State features 8 original compositions that serve as a series of vignettes reflecting on the process of change and transformation, and therefore the album title references new states of being. I was fortunate to team with renown trumpeter Jeremy Pelt, pianist Jeremy Siskind and drummer Tina Raymond to create this music. I was fortunate to have artistic direction from 2016 Project Runway winner Kentaro Kameyama for my album artwork.
